Sherry's Austin TX Real Estate Blog: Category Five & Code Black, by Philip Donlay

Category Five & Code Black, by Philip Donlay

Category FiveI went to school with Philip Donlay. At our first High School reunion, I found out he was a pilot. He still is, but he said he was going to take up writing. At the next reunion, he was in town for our reunion and a book signing.

I would have never in my life figured this guy for a writer!  But I bought his first book, thinking it would be all about airplanes and storms and boring. Was I wrong! It was soooo good!  I could not wait for the next book to hit the stands. It finally did, and was better than the first!  I am anxiously awaiting the next book. These need to be read in order, so you must first read Category 5. The storyline continues in the next book, Code Black.  The suspense never lets up! It's a high-flying disaster thriller that you will be biting your nails in anticipation of each new catastrophe to befall the beleaguered characters. Full of romance, deception, espionage, thrills, and chills.Code Black

If you like to read fiction, I highly recommend both of these books. Category Five is out in paper back now. Code Black has been selected as a Minnesota Book Awards Finalist in the Genre Fiction category.

Note: When I started ready Code Black, I was over three quarters of the way through before I could sit it down. It is that good!

Sherry-I love to read a good book. My problem is finding the time anymore. I may just check these two out though. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool.  I always wonder if someone from my school did something like write a book or an actor/actress sort of thing.  Anyway, I'll have to look into these books.

Laura, Nancy & John- I know you can get on Amazon or eBay and get the paper back dirt cheap. (eBay had them for like 1.25 plus postage a few weeks ago.) I had a hard time getting the books through my book store. I had bought several and gave as gifts.

Sounds like good books for my Partner. I'll have to check on them at Borders. Might make a nice wedding present since he loves to read.

Hey Sherry,

These sound like intriguing suggestions - and thanks for the reminder about amazon.  Nothing better than a bargain!
