I was running around the other day trying to tie up all the little things to be done before the holidays. I had to get my nails done. (You just never know when Santa might bring something that you have to show off on a hand or wrist!) Just needed an easy fill, it wouldn’t take long…and this was the only day I could do it. The place I go to is rarely that busy during the week…except today. I had an appointment to show a home in a nearby town, so figured, if they can't get me in pretty quick … I am so out of luck!
I was visiting with a lady that I had seen in there before. She was waiting on her daughter, and then she was going to get her nails done. I told her I had an appointment so if they couldn’t get me in within 30 minutes, I would have to wait until after the holidays before I would have another chance. Well, the lady said…Go before me…you have an appointment and I have all day.
I was thrilled…but hated to do it! But, I jumped in and got my nails done…and was moved over to the ultraviolet light station thingy to dry. (Like I know what the real technical name is.) She then took her place at getting her nails done. As soon as mine were dried, I paid the guy for my nail job and tip…and paid for her nail job and tip too! Just told him to tell her I said “Merry Christmas and Thank you Again”.

My friend’s aunt was so upset with her husband today. She had just recently been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, and being in what he considered the early stages, he didn’t think anything about leaving her alone while he went to the club and played golf.
